New officers were sworn in by New York State Senator Caesar Trunzo. The dinner honored member businesses that are 50 years or older. The American Legion Awards presented at the Patchogue Theater

The event was  a "moving up" ceremony with  South Ocean Middle School Grade 8 Class of 2011, along with, Patchogue Medford High School students who were outstanding throughout the year. It took place on June 20, 2007 at 7:30 PM in the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.  [more]

Patchogue, NY —Sunday, June 10 - Patchogue's Blessing of the Fleet began at the Sea Fair grounds on beautiful Patchogue River and headed South stopping at all Marinas. The Blessing of the Fleet is a centuries-old tradition fishing communities. A blessing from the local representative of a house of worship was meant to ensure a safe and bountiful season.  [more]

Music, Food, Free Ferry Rides, Vendor & Crafts people, carnival rides and PIRATES took over the Patchogue Riverfront and the Watch Hill, Fire Island National Sea Shore ferry terminal for three day of FUN.

- A New Bank in Town
Patchogue, NY —Thursday, April 5, 2007. Suffolk County Legislator Eddington was happy to join with Mayor Pontieri and CHASE Bank for the unveiling of the new bright blue CHASE Bank sign. CHASE is using bright blue instead of their traditional navy blue and red to help customers find Chase Banks. CHASE took over for the Bank of New York branch in Patchogue last month. [more]

Event Photo Gallery 6 Long Island Philharmonic's presentation of Mostly Mozart had Mozart visiting local restaurants
In conjunction with the Long Island Philharmonic's presentation of the Mostly Mozart performance on March 30, 2007 at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts, the Cultural Heritage Committee of the Greater Patchogue Foundation arranged for actors (Mozart, Salieri, and Costanza) to visit local participating Patchogue restaurants. Fun was had by all especially patrons that were surprised while dinning with Mozart taking a seat beside them. [more photos]

St. PATricks Parade started at 2pm on Main Street at Rider Avenue and headed west to West Avenue, as cheers came from the large crowds. Grand Marshal Brian Egan, Esq. and his lovely wife Jeannie led the parade. The March down Main Street ended at the Court house.  At 5pm Irish Rock Concert featuring, the Prodigals, Fathom, Bangers & Mash, without doubt the Patchogue Theater is again the hub and heart of Irish entertainment on Long Island.  The renown hospitality of the Fine Eateries and Pubs of Patchogue provide as diverse and pleasant a destination before and after the show as can be found [more photos]

Event Photo Gallery 4 May the Road Rise to Meet Ye 5K Run/Walk Begin at 9:30 a.m. on Division Street, St. Francis De Sales Parish Hall on the corner of S. Ocean Avenue and Division Street, housed the runner from the cold. The fast flat course along the Bay and Rivera has become a popular destination with runners each March but the ‘MOST IRISH’ award separates this from a dozen other races making it THE race of March for the Irish contingent. [Kilts were not required but worn] Awards were given out to 1st Overall Man & Woman and most Irish. [more photos]
